AI (artificial intelligence) generated poetry is not acceptable.

1. Members and non-members of the Haiku Society of America are eligible to submit. By submitting, you acknowledge all work is original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. We consider poems on the internet (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, blogs) to be previously published. Simultaneous submissions will not be accepted.

2. Submission Periods: There are three issues of Frogpond each year with month-long submission reading periods per issue—March for the spring/summer issue, July for the autumn issue, and November for the winter issue. Acceptances will be sent within 4-6 weeks after the submission period. All submissions sent during our reading periods will receive a reply one way or the other. Haiku/senryu, rengay, linked-forms, and haibun submissions sent outside of our reading periods will not be read or considered for publication.

3. Submissions: Frogpond will accept a submission of up to eight (8) haiku & senryu through the Google Form link below during the following submission periods: March, July, and November. During months outside of the submission periods, this link will be turned off.
