Applying for HSA Membership Online

You can now use a PayPal account to pay for membership in the Haiku Society of America. PayPal is an Internet service that enables any business or individual with an email address to send and receive payments online.

You must have a PayPal account to pay online for an HSA membership. If you do not have a PayPal account, and you would like to have one, please see the PayPal site for details about setting up an account.

After you complete the online application for membership, please consider making a donation to the HSA. For details, see Donations.

Click the appropriate Subscribe button in this table to begin the PayPal payment process. When you finish the payment, a page will display with an Access Subscription button. Click the Access Subscription button and fill out our online membership information form. For more details, please see the Task Summary below.

Task Summary

  1. In the table above, click the Subscribe button that is appropriate for where you live (or where the HSA member will live, if you are buying a membership for someone else).

  2. Fill out the information as prompted. If the transaction is successful, money will be sent from your PayPal account to the HSA's PayPal account, and you will be taken to a page that says, "You have successfully signed up."

  3. On the page that says, "You have successfully signed up," click the Access Subscription button. You will be taken to the HSA's Online Information Form for HSA Membership.

  4. Use the online information form to enter your contact information (or the contact information for the HSA member, if you are buying a membership for someone else). We must have both your payment and your contact information to complete your application for membership.

  5. When you are finished entering contact information, click the Send button. The contact information for the member will be sent to the HSA, and you will be taken to a page that says, "Your Membership Information Has Been Sent . . ."

That's it!

Note: Our current online payment method enables you to pay for one year's membership only. If you want to do anything else, please see Applying for HSA Membership By Postal Service. Download the Membership Application (pdf) for snail mail instead of online payment.
